Effective immediately, WCPOLS Record Type 44 is no longer required for Pennsylvania policies. The Pennsylvania Audit Noncompliance Charge Endorsement, WC 37 04 01, should be reported on Record Type 07 - Endorsement Identification Record. The variable information on WCPOLS Record Type 44 is not required.

Anniversary Rating Date (ARD) Elimination – Frequently Asked Questions
The elimination of the Anniversary Rating Date rule was approved effective for new and renewal policies effective on and after May 1, 2017. The PCRB has published PCRB Circular No. 1682 containing Frequently Asked Questions intended to clarify or provide instruction on dealing with the elimination of ARD.

The Policy Data Manager User’s Guide has been revised to include some clarifying language and further instructions around error reporting. This guide continues to include general rules, business reporting requirements and basic navigation details needed for carriers to continue utilizing the application.

Policy Data Reporting Changes – Reminder
Effective July 1, 2016, all policy information transactions must be submitted in a prescribed and logical sequence. For example, a New Policy, Transaction 01, must be reported before any endorsement transaction(s). Policy transactions submitted out of sequence will be rejected. Refer to PCRB Circular No. 1661 for more information on upcoming changes.

Effective January 1, 2016, the PCRB will discontinue sending hardcopy criticism letters. Policy data reporters are encouraged to review the Policy Reporting Validation Results guide which outlines the various options for retrieving policy reporting validation results electronically.

The PCRB is pleased to announce the release of the Policy Data Manager (PDM), a web-based application for entry, edit, submission and management of policy information.
PDM provides users the ability to:
After logging into the Application Login, carrier users can request access to the Policy Data Manager from their Carrier Group Administrator (CGA) via the “Request Access to Application” link located within the top blue toolbar. The user will then be prompted to select the Policy Data Manager.
